Stunning and sturdy acacia wood and blue resin knife holder is perfect to match the resin and acacia knives I bought my husband. It is also space saving and easy to clean/sanitary as opposed to other knife blocks that can trap moisture in the slots. The block features flannel pads on the bottom to add protection for your countertop and it appears to be hand crafted with quality joins. This knife block would make a unique and thoughtful gift for a chef or anyone who enjoys spending time in the kitchen.
I love this knife block. I have been using a non magnetic block type but thought a magnetic one would be better. The magnetic ones I have alwasy seen require wall mounting, but I do not have any space for that in my small kitchen. Fortunately this one is thin and freestanding. It takes up less space than my non magnetic block. It is also attractive, with it's blue wave design. I don't own any, but the Dnifo knives have the same pattern in the handles. I have seen very good reviews of their knives. Those would look really good on this.
I have a lot of knives, including 6 steak knives, as you can see in the attached photo. My block holder has a row of small slots along the bottom where I kept those steak knives. I did not think I would have enough space for them on this holder but I was wrong, plenty of room. The only thing I was not able to put on it is my ceramic honing rod. No deal breaker, it now sits next to it.
After a quick search on Amazon I see that this knife holder is at a very competitive price. I can definitely recommend this knife block. 5 stars from me.
